MEWP Operator Course

The Mobile Elevating Working Platform Operator course covers the safe operation of MEWP to provide safe work on site. Holders of MEWP Operator certificates may work in the oil & gas projects, building and maintenance industry. Candidates who pass the examination and assessment will receive a TRE certificate and ID card. Failed candidates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

  DAY 2:

  1. Course Refresher
  2. Theoretical Exam
  3. Practical Test

OVERVIEW:

This course will develop your understanding to operate MEWP safely with current international standards and ACOP for various industries i.e., construction, engineering, manufacturing, oil and gas plants, etc. 

TRAINING METHOD: 

  • The mode of delivery is by PowerPoint presentations/videos/interactions and group exercises.
  • A highly participative course, with theoretical assessment
  • Objective type of questions for written exam which will be in English.

 

ID REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should provide any of the one identity from the following listed below:

  • National Identity Card
  • Valid Passport (Any Nationality)

 

VENUE:

  • On-site (Client premises for Practical)
  • In-house (TRE Office Yard)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To have at least a minimum of 1-year experience either in operation or maintenance. Should possess the ability to write and read English to the minimum.

Personnel who require a thorough knowledge and operation competency of MEWP.
COURSE DURATION
The guided learning time for this qualification is 2 Days.

Theoretical and Practical based Questions
PASSING CRITERIA
To pass a written exam with 70% marks (objective questions) / practical examination.
