  19. Hand signals

DAY 2:

  1. Mobile Crane Types
  2. Operating Manual & Log Book
  3. Proximity Hazards
  4. Working with Crane
  5. Crane Set Up
  6. Bad Lifting Practices
  7. Load Rating Chart
  8. Lifting Areas Diagram
  9. The Range Diagram
  10. Rated Capacity Indicator (SLI) / (LMI)
  11. Tandem Lifting
  12. Video Illustration
  13. Assignment (Day 2).

DAY 3:

  1. Course Refresher
  2. Theoretical Exam
  3. Practical Test

TRAINING METHOD:   

  • The mode of delivery is by PowerPoint presentations/videos/interactions and group exercises.
  • A highly participative course, with theoretical assessment
  • Objective type of questions for written exam which will be in English.

 

ID REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should provide any of the one identity from the following listed below:

  • National Identity Card
  • Valid Passport (Any Nationality)

 

VENUE:

  • On-site (Client premises for Practical)
  • In-house (TRE Office Yard)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Age must be 21 years and above. Minimum experience 5 years.
COURSE DURATION
The guided learning hours for this qualification is 3 Days.

Maximum Number of Attendees 10 per Session
ASSESSMENT METHOD
Theoretical and Practical based Questions
PASSING CRITERIA
To pass a written exam with 70% marks (objective questions) / practical examination.
