International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and Use of an AED

Topics covered include basic emergency first aid, major bleed control, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators and managing a choking casualty. 

Highfield recommends that you contact the relevant Government Department in the country that you want to deliver this qualification, to ensure that local laws are being adhered to and that there are no additional approval requirements. You may be required to register as a training provider within the country. Highfield approves centers based on its own criteria but does not represent any other organizations or departments. 

WHO CAN BE THE PARTICIPANTS?
This qualification has been developed specifically for those who wish to become an emergency first-aider and use a defibrillator.
WHAT IS THE COURSE DURATION?
This international qualification would be typically delivered to learners through a 1-day training course (7 hours).
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed through practical demonstration and written/oral knowledge test.
