International Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

Topics within this qualification include; the responsibilities of individuals for health and safety in the workplace, risk assessments and risk control, and an understanding of the procedures that should be in place to deal with health and safety incidents. 

Highfield recommends that you contact the relevant Government Department in the country that you want to deliver this qualification, to ensure that local laws are being adhered to and that there are no additional approval requirements. You may be required to register as a training provider within the country. Highfield approves centers based on its own criteria but does not represent any other organizations or departments.  

WHO CAN BE THE PARTICIPANTS?
This qualification has been developed for those who are working in any private or public sector working enviroment and providing them with knowledge of basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace.
WHAT IS THE COURSE DURATION?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 6 hours of learning.
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by an end of course, multiple-choice examination.
