The Highfield Level 2 International Award in Fire Safety is a qualification developed by Highfield, the Middle East’s leading supplier of compliance-based qualifications.

Topics covered include how fires are caused in the workplace, the fire triangle, hazards during or after a fire, means of escape, fire-fighting equipment and systems, employee and employer duties, fire risk assessments, and the role of the fire wardens.

Highfield recommends that you contact the relevant Government Department in the country that you want to deliver this qualification, to ensure that local laws are being adhered to and that there are no additional approval requirements. You may be required to register as a training provider within the country. Highfield approves centers based on its own criteria but does not represent any other organizations or departments.

WHO CAN BE THE PARTICIPANTS?
This qualification has been developed for anyone involved in the management of fire safety in the workplace. This could include managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
WHAT ARE THE PRE-REQUISITES?
Some experience in Oil / Gas, Construction Sites & industrial yards Rigging & Slinging.
WHAT IS THE COURSE DURATION?
This international qualification would be typically delivered through a 1-day training course (7 hours).
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by an end of course, multiple-choice examination.
