Crane Supervisor- Tower, Portal and Goliath cranes

Job Summary:
Technical Royal Excellence (TRE) is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Supervisor to oversee crane operations and ensure the safe and efficient execution of lifting activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising crane crews, coordinating operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Location : Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily crane operations, including the deployment, positioning, and operation of cranes (tower cranes, portal cranes, and goliath cranes).
  • Ensure that all lifting activities are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct pre-lift meetings to assess lifting plans and ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor the performance of crane operators and ground crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform regular inspections of cranes and lifting equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including identifying and mitigating potential hazards on site.
  • Assist in training and mentoring crane operators and crew members on safe lifting practices and equipment operation.
  • Document and report any incidents or near misses, as well as corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop effective lifting plans and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in crane operation and supervision are preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction or lifting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of crane operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience working with tower cranes, portal cranes, and goliath cranes is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret lifting plans, technical drawings, and safety documents.
