Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Crane Engineer with a strong background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to join our engineering team at Technical Royal Excellence (TRE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of crane systems, conducting RCA for any operational issues, and implementing effective solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of crane systems (including tower cranes, portal cranes, and goliath cranes) to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on crane-related issues to identify underlying problems and develop effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement solutions and preventive measures based on RCA findings.
- Document and report all findings, analyses, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel regarding crane operations and maintenance.
- Assist in the design and specification of crane systems to meet project requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to crane operations and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Crane Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience specifically with tower cranes, portal cranes, and goliath cranes.
- Strong understanding of crane systems, safety standards, and engineering principles.
- Experience in conducting RCA using various methodologies (e.g., Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in engineering software and tools related to crane design and analysis.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
